'Keats' is a suite of darkly melodic earworms from Canadian musician, Camp Of Wolves. Alternately reminding of Boards Of Canada's bittersweet nostalgia and John Carpenter's creepy atmospheres/horror vibes, channeled here into a beautiful collection of mournful shoegaze-tinged electronica full of big brooding synths and gothic textures laced with lush interwoven melodies. A soundtrack to childhood memories.

"Keats is a recollection of growing up in the 80's and spending Summer and Winter holidays on a small, forested island in the fjord waters of Howe Sound just off the coast of Vancouver. A rustic place only accessible by foot passenger boats, strewn with the odd dirt road and numerous trails and rocky beaches. Here my grandparents and great-grandmother lived and my brother and I adventured. Fuzzy and lofi, the tracks are a simple, cobweb-covered, distorted reflection of the childlike fear, wonder and stories we experienced there which came abruptly to an end with a death at the close of the decade."
