Harpoon is a project of Tina Hitchens and Aron Ward that utilises drum machines and stomp boxes to full effect.

'Permission Fist' is their mighty new work for Aphelion Editions, a head-spinning vortex of lean, brutalist, interlocking composition and hyperkinetic rhythm study, honing years of live improvisation into a thrill-ride of texture and sound that feels equally at home on your headphones in a darkened room as it would coming to you via a robust PA in a sweaty basement venue (eg. precisely how and where we plan to release this beast).

As a long time fan of Head of David and Tunnels ov Ah ,i thought i would check this out,its very good.You can hear echoes of what was to become Tunnels ov Ah,i think i like this just as much,if not more.This feels more aggressive,rough,jagged,and full of implied menace.Definitely worth checking out if you are a fan of the aforementioned bands.
