Following a self-released cassette of a live performance at The Island and the luscious soundscapes of 2014's 'Jupiter' album for Zamzamrec, Aonghus Reidy brings the modular magic of his Ocean Floor project to Aphelion Editions with this suite of four stunning compositions that combine slow-evolving modular synth textures and sequences with simple melodic and counter-melodic figures that swell and collide with an aching melancholic beauty.

'Four Shadows' is a perfect late-night contemplative soundtrack full of mystery and intrigue.

When I see the words, Dream & challenging in a release, I'm sold before even hearing it! I wasn't disappointed with this - ten tracks ranging from the melodic, experiential to unsettling, all relating to strange dreams. It's very engaging and inspiring release! PadraigC
